But I have already been 6 times and have had some really fun experiences. This day just happened to be one of them...

The day started early, too early, at 6:30 am when I received a text message from Kim about how she just got out of the shower and was running late and that she'd hurry to my house but that she wouldn't be there at 7:15 am like originally planned. I found this to be quite exciting and I rolled over and went back to sleep.

Eventually I woke up and got ready and left the house close to 8 am. Off to Sonic Drive In we went for some yummy breakfast before our day could unfold. Two OJ's, two breakfast toasters, one with ham and one with bacon, and two orders of tater tots later, we were quite content. Delicious indeed. After chatting about everything from hypocrits to wedding photos, we made our way to the main event, Disneyland.

We arrived at the park 9 minutes before it opened, 9:51 am to be exact and set to parking. Amazingly we ended up on the lowest level, Chip N Dale. That never happens. Neither Kim nor I had ever come close to parking there, and we knew this day would be good.

I heard a rumor from my friend Carey about the ultimate fastpass (Dream Fastpass) that would allow you to go on any fastpass ride whenever you wanted and decided it was Kim and my mission to get our hands on some. (I don't think I'm going to divulge the location to receive such named articles for the sake of secrecy and because I'm mean.) We actually found them and were super excited to have those.

In the process, Kim saw her friend Amber who happened to be working at Disneyland in that area explaining how the passes worked. So funny. Now we were off to see how much fun we could have in 7 hours. Sadly we had to leave at 5 pm, but that sure didn't stop us from having a blast.

The first ride we went on was Peter Pan, which was my first time. It was so early that the line wasn't 45+ minutes like usual. Instead it was only 20, haha. That was fun and magical. Loved it. Next we went on Alice and Wonderland, another ride I had not ever tried, and sang with the beautiful flowers. It was silly but so fun.

After two kid rides, we found that we needed some speed and thrill. Space Mountain was a perfect fit. This ride is easily both Kim and my favorite ride in the Disneyland Park (Not including California Adventure). While we were on this ride, I became so "filled with joy" that it had to "burst from my mouth in the form of laughter, right as Kim made her trademark Asian tourist pose. (Each hand in peace sign showing form, a huge smile, and squinty eyes. We know we're horrible but it's just so funny.)

From this point, we decided to head over to California Adventure. On our way out of Disneyland, we saw what looked like a photo shoot or something. We of course wanted to check it out and find out what it was for! We chatted with the sound guy and found that it was a video ad they were making for the Disneyland website. They needed volunteers to talk about their annual passes. Kim immediately wanted to be in it and I tried to resist but Kim convinced me that it would be fun. So we were filmed talking about pass perks and favorite Disneyland memories. So so so silly but an incredible experience! Kim was beyond thrilled and even teared up during the interview. We chatted it up with the set guys and the director for a while too. They said we were awesome and even jokingly (sadly) offered us money. It was great.

After such an adrenaline rush, we knew we needed more. So off to Tower of Terror we went, which is easily both of our favorite ride at California Adventure. On the way, we guzzled an entire soda and were hit on by Frozone, the blue character from the Incredibles. As always we had a blast and I screamed pretty consistently through the whole ride. Kim and I made funny poses. Hers being her "trademark" of course.

After screaming like crazy, we were up for some competition on the new Toy Story Midway Mania. We cut the line by going as singles, but I still won with 156,600 to her 138,200. I was impressed by my score and loved the ride. If you haven't been on it yet, you have to go check it out.

Our next stop was California Screamin. Again I screamed and laughed the whole ride through but enjoyed every minute of it. We took a bathroom break, if you must know, and felt refreshed and ready for another attempt at Toy Story. This time we went together and endured the 10 minute wait. This time Kim won, while I exclaimed in excuse that my arm was tired. LOL She beat my 135,900 with her 156,300. Oh well. Tie breaker next time!

While evaluating my Dream Fastpass, I discovered one for Mulhollands Madness. I had no idea what that was and had never experienced this ride, so Kim took me on it. It is supposed to be one rendition of (SoCal) California driving and personally I think it fit pretty well. Crazy stops, lots of turns and hills everywhere.

By now we needed some food and rest and found it in... Ice Cream! Kim bought a chocolate dipped waffle cone with Strawberry Ice Cream (which was yummy) and I bought a regular cone with Cookies and Cream Ice Cream with Cookies and Cream Crumbles on top. The two people working there were doing a lousy job and kept messing up orders and skipping some too. After too long of a wait, we received our treats and began eating, yay! I think I may have seen the McIntyre's, Adam and Jessica, from the Grove but I didn't say hi. I'm lame, oh well.

After Ice Cream we felt like another round of terror at the tower. This time I accidentally had my seat belt a little loose and it made for quite a different experience. Multiple times I was at least 4 inches off my seat and suspended in air. It was so cool and exhilerating.

So far, we hadn't used any of our fastpasses because the lines were all 10 minutes or less and we didn't want to waste them. It was kind of crazy.

On our way back to Disneyland we went to renew Kim's pass. The women renewing her pass was having computer trouble and it was taking a while. So she rewarded us with something called the "No Strings Attached" coupon. It was like the dream passes but for only one ride (any one of our choice) and we didn't have to use it today. We have until October 10th to use it. So cool. We felt like we were getting free stuff all over the place.

Now it was time for some Indiana Jones. We almost used our pass just because but didn't because the wait was still only 10 min. It was fun, as always. But I get so freaked out at the part when the skeletons kind of lunge out at you and scream. I hate that part. LOL Next we went on the Jungle Cruise and listened to our guide make cheesy jokes that Kim and I thought were hilarious. Kim joked that she was glad we got a fat white guy for our guide because they're "always funny." I liked his exasperation of "Oh tartar suace" the most.

Next we headed to Splash Mountain. I was so sure that Kim had said that she wanted to go on it. But found out once we were already on the ride that she thought that I had said I wanted to go on it. Truth was that neither of us really wanted to get wet but by now it was too late. The guy in front of me thought it was funny. He also didn't want to get wet, especially his butt, so he grabbed a rain coat and proceeded to cover his seat with it. Before we had even reached the huge drop, I had been splashed on my right side and my whole leg, butt and shoe were soaked. Again, the guy in front thought it was funny. As we went down the highest drop, Kim posed like she loves to, I grinned in absolute excitement, and the guy in front lifted his butt 6 inches off of his seat, lifted his hands and cheered. It was quite a ride.

The best part came when we looked at the picture. Kim was making the funniest and craziest reaction shot I had ever seen. The front guy agreed and even took a picture so he could show his friends. Kim was ecstatic. She had told me earlier that she wanted to be the girl that people pointed at and laughed when they saw her picture and she had succeeded quite well.

It's hard to beat something like that so we went to find food. We ended up in tomorrowland with two cheeseburgers, two fries, and two sodas. This menu was sadly quite similar to breakfast. Kim showed me how to make Fry Sauce like they do in Utah, mayo and ketchup. I didn't end up trying it but it bet it's not that bad. During dinner, we were entertained my the Jedi Knight Show. The kids were so cute and it looked so funny.

Our time to leave was coming soon and we decided to make a trip to one more ride... Space Mountain! Duh! We even tried to use our fastpass but were denied merely because the line was so short. It was a blast and I was reminded once again that it is my favorite Disneyland ride. So fun. This time I joined in on Kim's "trademark" pose. I'm not sure I look so silly doing it but it was a nice end to the ride anyway.

By now, we had used one fastpass--Splash Mountain--thankfully because although the sign said 10 minute wait, as we passed way too many people we could tell it was closer to 25 minutes. Yay Kim. But we still had these Dream Fastpasses and we had to leave. We decided to try to give them away.

The first group we tried consisted of a women and her son/grandson, not sure. She thought it was sweet but felt bad taking them because they wouldn't be there long. The next group, who was the loser of the day, consisted of a man and his son. The man thought I was selling something and blew me off saying "We already have Annual Passes." He irked me the whole rest of the day and even still I get annoyed with him and his rudeness. But he didn't know what he was missing. Our next group was a success thankfully because we needed to go and I couldn't believe the Dream Fastpasses had been rejected twice. This group consisted of a mom and her son and she was so excited to get them.

The day definitely felt complete. But we were both SO sad to leave. There's just something about Disneyland. It's a place that both children and adults can go and feel special again. It's a place to remember about the magic and spark in the world. Everyone can have a good time and whenever I go, I get so involved and wrapped up in it that I struggle when it comes time to leave. But the day was great and my feet were sore and it was time to go.

Overall we were asked 8 times about our Dream Fastpasses, including 2 Disney Cast Members. LOL

The day ended with me going too far on the 57 and having to backtrack, putting me 30 minutes later but even still, the day's excitement couldn't be dimmed. It was amazing!
